Sharing

It's amazing how simple things can make us laugh. I saw this picture and thought it was so simple and so cute...

Just wanted to share with you guys.

And keep in mind: "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello My Friends,

I know, I am one day late... But I am sure you guys were all busy yesterday eating lots of turkey and you didn't have any time to check emails or my blog. ;)

I just want to wish you guys Happy Thanksgiving!

Hugs from (warm) Brazil.

Dinner with Friends

When I was a WAT (Work & Travel), I went to Six Flags in Springfield, MA. I think most of you know that.

I met great people there and we try to see each other as much as we can.

So last week we went to a Mexican restaurant in São Paulo. Nothing better than good food and great friends!

Hope to be able to do the same thing with my friends from Portland anytime soon. Hope to see you guys, here in Brazil or in the US - but only during the summer!

Have a great weekend!

Suddenly, 30!

Yes, now I am part of the club: 30 years old.
But I feel great, besides the fact that the first thing I saw in the mirror when I woke up was a HUGE gray hair.

Last Friday, I started my day waking up at 4am, as usual. Had to go to work, but I had to work only till noon. After, I had lunch with my Godparents and went to my parents house after. At night, celebration with my friends.
By the time I went to bed, it had passed more than 24 hours I was awake. I am too old for this "Brazilian way to party."

After, I spend Sat and Sunday relaxing...

In these pictures, my new co-workers and a few fsome of my friends.

You guys, my American friends, were missed here...

5 Days to Go!

Hello Everyone,

Yes, 5 days to my birthday!
I always make a big party, a week-birthday-celebration. But this year I am so tired that I haven't had time to think about what to do for my special day...

I am working in São Paulo but I am not living there. So I have to commute every day to work and it means taking the bus at 5am and get back home around 9pm. You can imagine how tired I am.

The traffic in São Paulo is insane and sometimes it takes me 3 hours to get back home. In a perfect world with no traffic, I would take 1.5 hour from my work to my house.

I tried to take a picture of the crazy traffic, but didn't work. São Paulo at 7h30am has already miles and miles of traffic. It is insane!

At least I am enjoying my new job...

Anyways, I just wanted to say hello and wish you guys a great week! Next week I will post here pictures of my birthday party!

:)
